The Magic Joke Shop's Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories are regularly referred to by the media and the public as Contact Lenses. The range we stock are manufactured in accordance to cosmetic standards and are deemed in law to be a Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessory and not Coloured Lenses, patterned Lenses or Cosmetic Fashion Lenses. The Magic Joke Shop's Eye Accessories are governed by the EU Cosmetics Directive.

Each set contains:

2 Soft Contact Lenses (1 lens per vial)
55% water - 45% Hema Co-Polymer, immersed in buffered isotonic saline
CE 477. ISO 9001:2000.

We take responsibility for ocular health very seriously, which is why you must agree to the following legal statement before purchasing any of our Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories:

I do not suffer from any eye infections (e.g. Conjunctivitis).
I do not suffer from any corneal condition (e.g. Keratitis).
I do not suffer from any allergic eye conditions (e.g. Hay Fever).
I do not suffer from any chronic eye conditions (e.g. Glaucoma).
I intend to use these Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories for cosmetic colour change purposes only and not to correct any defect of sight or refractive error.
I have received clear instructions and guidance for the safe wearing, removal and care of my new Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories. (Included in packaging).
I have been advised to immediately remove my Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories if I experience any undue irritation, discomfort or redness of the eyes.

I understand the need for regular periodic check-ups with an eye care practitioner.
Our Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories are designed to be worn for up to 3 months or 12 months depending on the type purchased. Use only as intended and to be replaced within the specified timescale after opening, irrespective of the number of times worn.
Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories are suitable for normal, healthy eyes, are for cosmetic use only and are not intended to remedy any defect of sight.
Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories can not be worn over other Contact Lenses.
I am over the age of 16.

I understand and acknowledge that Cosmetic Fashion Eye Accessories are not classified as medical devices and are governed by the EU Cosmetic Directive; however, in the clinical opinion of the manufacturers qualified ophthalmologist, they are only suitable for those with normal healthy eyes, who can confirm all 13 statements above to be true and accurate.
