To help raise money for the BBC Children In Need Appeal in 2007 Chris offered by auction a chance for 40 people plus 1 friend each to join him in July 2008 for a round of golf at a local course in Surrey before going on to his pub also located in Surrey.
There they will experience food cooked by Giorgio Locatelli. Wines chosen and explained by Oz Clarke. A pub quiz courtesy of Radio 2's Jonny Saunders. A live performance in the pub by The Proclaimers and then Chris will host a disco until late.
Proceeds went to The Radio 2 Children in Need Appeal. It raised a grand total of £231,019 for Children In Need. The Magic Joke Shop donated 100 products to those who helped raise the vital cash. | |
